Infodrog is the Swiss Office for the Coordination of Addiction Facilities, mandated by the Federal Office of Public Health FOPH. Its activities relate to the two pillars of the Swiss drug policy therapy and harm reduction. Infodrog was founded in 2006 and resulted out of the merger of KOSTE, Swiss Office of Coordination and Assistance for Residential Drug Therapy Facilities (founded in 1995) and FASD, Swiss Office for Harm Reduction and Survival Aid.

Mission and Objectives

Commissioned by the Federal Office of Public Health FOPH and in conjunction with the Cantons (Swiss ConferencHArm RHarme of the Welfare Ministers of the Cantons SODK) Infodrog advances and encourages the variety of, connections between, quality of and access to the diverse therapeutic, consultation and harm reduction services. The participation in working groups and the organisation of regional and national conferences as well as the management of varied projects contribute to an efficient integration and coordination of services.

• Compendium prevention and therapy of hepatitis C (published by Infodrog in French, German and Italian)
• Brochures and leaflets on safer use and infectious diseases

• for service users as well as their families
• for professionals from residential addiction facilities, outpatient and harm reduction services
• for representatives/employees from communal or cantonal administrations and bodies

• for the development of new support services
• for the enlargement or differentiation of existing support services
• for the professional inter-cantonal or regional integration of addiction support services
• for the formulation of practice-oriented instruments and basic principles
